This week, I’m sharing a little poetry “music video” project I’ve been working on for awhile, featuring my poem New Bird from the poetry collection of the same name, read aloud over the top of some original nature photography of mine, and backed by some beautiful piano music by Universfield. As a teenager (and even still) I adored music videos, and this is my take on what a music video for this poem might look like. It’s simple but sincere, and if you watch and listen carefully, you might just spy a few photographs of the real life Secret Garden tucked in amongst the others. I’m looking forward to trying this experient again in the future with other poems.
